Healing Means to Make Whole

As a holistic counsellor, I bring an integrative approach to healing and wellness. I collaborate with clients to bring about positive physical, mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual change. I draw on mindfulness, somatics, yoga, psychotherapeutic modalities, and Polyvagal theory to help clients navigate challenges and realize the truth of who they really are.

There are two distinct yet complimentary streams under the umbrella of Lisa Mitchell Healing – Holistic & Somatic Therapy and Yoga. As I support people I strive to be conscious of the ways systemic oppression affects the health of people and communities.

I acknowledge that I am a white cisgender female affording me many privileges. I aspire to wield my privileges in ways that will reduce systemic harm to people of colour, the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and those with different abilities. I wholeheartedly aim to be a deep listener, humble learner, and connector and collaborator with people.
